10 hour puzzle marathon

FAQ

You will receive a reminder and a short-term postponement. If you still do not pay, your registration will be cancelled by us.

Under 18 year olds can take part in the competition if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Spectators are allowed and welcome. There is an area in the hall for spectators and participants who are taking a break.

Dogs and other pets / animals are not allowed in the competition area or in the spectator area. They are not permitted in the entire indoor area of the event hall due to the house rules.

You can change the team members yourself up to a few days before the event. If someone cannot take part, it is therefore possible to add another person to the team. If this is not technically possible, please contact contact@puzzlemarathon.de

In principle, the team must consist of at least 4 people. If there are fewer than 4 people in the team on the day of the event, the organiser can fill the team with interested people from the waiting list or the spectators.

We will allocate the unoccupied team places to participants on the waiting list or spectators at short notice. If there is no interest, the place remains free, then the team can still join in the puzzle after it appears. If individual team members are too late, they can join their team later.

It is not necessary for the entire team to be present from start to finish. The starting team should be present no later than 9.45am, but at least 1 person should be there earlier to register the team. Someone from the team should also stay after the end of the event to collect the team's remaining puzzles.

Each team has a puzzle area measuring approx. 160 x 70 cm.

Trays, plates and sorting boxes are permitted as aids, as are box-top holders. The number and size can be freely chosen and must be brought by the participants themselves.

Scissors, knives and other sharp objects for opening the puzzles are not permitted. The puzzles will already be open, so no tools are necessary.

Additional light sources, objects that change the height or arrangement of the tables and templates that represent the puzzle maker's pattern are also not permitted.

Puzzles cannot be skipped, all puzzles must be puzzled in the intended order.
